Exmouth Withycombe Raleigh Ward

Cecilia
  is a lifelong Devon resident and now lives in the Withycombe ward. She has worked as a development officer for Age Concern, as a day centre organiser, and as a counsellor for the unemployed. She has also been a school governor. She particularly wishes to improve the standards of care and support for needy elderly residents.

Sandy Sutton has worked with children of all ages and has been the headteacher of two primary schools, the second being Copplestone School in Devon. She also made a video for teacher training. She is now a governor of Littleham School. For the past four years she has been a Littleham town councillor representing residents on planning and wants to preserve the countryside and footpaths. She is an active member of Littleham Working Together Police Liaison. Two years ago she was elected Deputy Mayor of Exmouth, promoting Exmouth in the wider community. She has also encouraged the important part that Littleham plays in the Exmouth Festival.

Alison Greenhalgh has been a primary school teacher and headteacher in London and Devon and has particular experience of supporting children with special educational needs, bilingual children and families in challenging circumstances. She has been a governor in several schools and is now a supply teacher. She has been Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator and has been a volunteer helper for the Exmouth Festival. Her interests are walking, yoga, gym, gardening, cycling and visiting places of historical interest.
